In order to promote and advance the academic level, to integrate the academic research and development, to strengthen the function of cooperation between the University and industries, to enhance the academic cooperation as well as to accommodate with long-term development plan, the University set up the Office of Research and Planning Division, Academic Research Division, and Promoted Cooperation Division in the Research and Development Office.The Office is expected to accomplish the intermediate and long-term plans of this University; that is, to expand and integrate research resources effectively and practically, and to restructure all academic research centers in order to develop integrative human and material resources. |

To collect, study, and analyze the information of academic development of each university.

Academic Research Affairs:

To conduct the research grants sponsored by National Science Council, the Ministry of Education, and other academic research organizations (Non-National Science Council).

To collect the information about research subsidies from the National Science Council and Non-National Science Council.

To collect academic research information such as resources, bylaws, and regulations, and to assist the faculty members to apply for academic research subsidy.

To implement bylaws and regulations related to the academic research.

To assist all academic sections and faculty members of this school to organize the international or national academic activities.

Promoting Cooperation Affairs:

To promote the national and international academic cooperation.

To evaluate the needs for academic cooperation to promote and conduct national and international scholarly exchanges.

To draft the agreementsof exchanges for international academic cooperation.

To assist teachers and students with applications for national and international advancement, research, and lectures.
